About Us

Down To Earth Agronomy is run by Chris Taylor, a Nuffield Farming Scholar and a member of the Association of Independent Crop Consultants (AICC).

He graduated from Harper Adams University College and gained early experience in large-scale farm management. In 2014 he moved into agronomy. He holds:

  • BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection
  • FACTS qualification
  • BASIS Graduate Diploma in Agronomy with Environmental Science

Chris is passionate about holistic farming that balances productivity, profitability, and long-term farm resilience. His worldwide study through the Nuffield Scholarship has given him deep, first-hand knowledge of regenerative farming and soil health practices.
